Subsidy for human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination costs
HPV vaccines are intended to prevent infection with human papillomaviruses (HPVs), which cause cervical cancer. To help prevent cervical cancer, the Shiseido Health Insurance Society subsidizes the entire cost of HPV vaccination. See below for an overview of this subsidy.
HPV vaccines may have adverse reactions (side effects) that vary from individual to individual. Since the Society is implementing this subsidy program on the premise of voluntary inoculation, members should make their own decisions about whether to receive HPV vaccination.
